At Cole Precision Engineering we prefer to work from clients own design drawings or sketches, but try to be as flexible as possible and do produce from samples, whenever possible offering short lead times. The company has over 40 years’ experience in sub contract, precision and general engineering industries. Established circa 1978, trading as Diameter Tools, specialising in the supply of turned components, such as cores and cavities, punch and dies etc to the then thriving Toolmaking sector. Diversifying at a later date to include production and fabrication, subcontracting to many manufacturing companies in the area.
Sadly, following the demise of the majority of those businesses, we have downsized considerably. However, we maintain the high level of competence and skill the company has always displayed, remaining focused on providing a quality, flexible and cost effective service to our customers, some having been with us for more than 20 years.
You can be confident in that from us you will get that attention to detail personal service at a competative price. Our range of workshop activities are not restricted to turn/milled components but include assembly, and light fabrication projects, brazing and welding.
Our machine shop is comprised of conventional lathes and mills of various capacities, all fitted with D.R.O systems, plus a comprehensive range of ancillary equipment, as well as inspection and measuring instruments.
You may find us more accommodating than many C.N.C orientated companies, usually inclined toward large volume/batch work. Perhaps understandably less interested in 1 offs or small projects. Where as that’s what we do!
